Tibo turned on Outrank — his own AI SEO tool — for SuperX in November 2025. It did the keyword research, wrote the articles, got contextual backlinks and built some free tools. By September 2026 daily Google impressions had gone from about 2K to 23K. Signups and revenue weren't shared.
01The problem
Growing SuperX's search traffic without writing and link-building by hand.
02The hypothesis
An automated keyword → article → backlink pipeline can grow a real product's search visibility.
03The experiment
SuperX has run on Outrank since November 2025. Outrank did the keyword research, wrote all the articles, got “real and contextual” backlinks and built some free tools.
His Search Console screenshot marks the start and shows daily impressions climbing from roughly 2K to about 23K by September 2026. The screenshot's totals for the whole chart (May 2025 to September 2026, including the months before Outrank) are 52.7K clicks and 2.86M impressions, at a 1.8% average click rate and an average position of 19.7.
Tibo owns Outrank, so this is also an advertisement for it.

05What worked — and what didn't
What worked
- A steady pipeline of articles plus contextual backlinks, running for months.
- Free tools alongside the articles.
06Lessons
Impressions are the early signal; he didn't share clicks, signups or revenue from the change. Tibo owns Outrank, so read it as a vendor's case study with a real Search Console chart.

Nevo David paid an SEO freelancer around $3K a month for 4 months — “it was useless” on a brand-new domain
Nevo David · Postiz
Before Postiz went open source, Nevo David focused on SEO: an UpWork freelancer pitched news sites, bought backlinks and wrote many articles. After four months at around $3K a month he called it useless — with very low domain authority, even easy keywords wouldn't rank — and switched to open source.

Postiz's SEO: open source took it to 70 domain authority and traffic kept rising — but revenue didn't follow
Nevo David · Postiz
Nevo David built Postiz's search presence through open source — GitHub awesome-lists, open-source and SaaS directories, a daily AI blog post and free tools — reaching 70 domain authority. By August 2026 he wrote that traffic went “up and up and up” but revenue didn't follow, and he's moving effort to getting cited by AI assistants.
