Jack launched PressDrop.io with no followers by listing it on small .lol launch sites — the one that mattered was a $2 slot on bigbubble.lol, which brought a $59 sale within minutes. After a silent week where Product Hunt and Reddit did nothing, publicly doing the job for people restarted sales: $1,093 in 27 days.
01The problem
Launch a paid product with zero followers.
02The experiment
On 27 August 2026 he listed PressDrop.io on several .lol launch sites; the one that mattered was bigbubble.lol, where he paid $2. The second visitor bought ($59) and a second sale came the same day.
His new X account was then suspended after a burst of activity, losing its 100 followers. The following week — Product Hunt, Reddit, his own posts — produced nothing.
What changed things was showing the product doing the job in public: he wrote press releases by hand for people's URLs (581 views, 6 URLs, 6 releases, 2 sales from one person). He launched at $49 on purpose, at a negative margin, to test whether strangers would pay.

04What worked — and what didn't
What worked
- A $2 slot on bigbubble.lol — first sale within minutes
- Doing the job in public for people's URLs instead of posting revenue screenshots
- Launching cheap to test whether strangers would pay at all
What didn't work
- Product Hunt, Reddit and his own posts in the week after launch: nothing
- Over-activity on a brand-new X account got it suspended
“If you just shipped and nobody cares yet, show the product doing the job.”
